A position has arisen for a part-time temporary Health and Safety Partner placed within a highly reputable organisation in Dorset for around 5 months. The role takes lead responsibility in performing Health and Safety audits and implementing the necessary change.
Your duties will include:
Performing Health and Safety audits
Carrying out detailed and comprehensive risk assessments across all areas of the organisation
Updating and reviewing Health and Safety policies and procedures regularly to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices
Collaborating with Estates and Facilities teams to ensure the safety of premises, including conducting site inspections and assessments of equipment and infrastructure
Managing and maintaining records of incidents, near-misses, and risk assessments to identify trends and recommend improvements
Facilitating engagement and communication on Health and Safety matters with staff, students, and external stakeholders
Leading on accident prevention strategies, including ergonomic assessments and workplace safety improvements
The successful candidate will have:
NEBOSH or IOSH
Public sector experience is desirable
