The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic and busy team dedicated to representing claimants in industrial disease cases. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and aspiring Paralegal to contribute to the success of our esteemed Industrial Disease team that specialises in asbestos disease claims. Key Responsibilities: Support fee earners in managing casework related to industrial disease claims. Prepare and draft court documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal procedures. Assist in the gathering and organisation of evidence to support claimant cases. Aid in the preparation and completion of witness statements and schedules of loss. Coordinate and attend meetings with Counsel, supporting discussions on case strategies and settlements. Provide overall administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of case management and client interactions. Supporting with business development initiatives. Key Skills and Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Paralegal, preferably within the area of personal injury or industrial disease claims. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly in preparing legal documents and managing case files. Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, fee earners, and Counsel. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently. Proficient in legal research and adept at using relevant case management and document management systems. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen interest in learning and professional development within the legal sector.
