Support Worker - Adult Care Location: Bradford Salary: (phone number removed) plus excellent benefits Hours: 37.5 hours per week Shifts: 8am-3pm, 3pm-10pm, then wake nights My Client is a well-known Social Care provider that offers care for adults aged 19-60 who have learning difficulties and mental health issues. They specialize in supporting adults with complex needs (including, but not limited to, Autistic Spectrum Condition, Learning Disability, and Mental Health) to live their best possible life. They strive to provide friendly, professional, and inspirational services. THE ROLE This is a great opportunity to build strong and positive relationships with adults, professionals, and families. You will engage in fun activities such as long walks, outdoor educational trips, and interactive hands-on activities. There may be aspects of lone working as required. As part of your role, you may also be asked to assist with cooking and cleaning. The existing team members are passionate, dedicated, and motivated, committed to offering a safe and supportive environment for colleagues and, more importantly, for each of our service users. EXPERIENCE Some previous experience supporting people with mental health issues. Value-based, empathetic, adaptable, and resilient. Positive attitude and a commitment to empowerment. An understanding of autism and working with people whose behavior can be challenging at times would also be beneficial.
