As Head of Tax, reporting to the Board of Directors, your remit is straightforward; Deliver bespoke mixed tax services with a focus on helping clients to achieve their business and personal goals Spearhead the development and growth of the tax offering including building your own team Grow your own career to Tax Director and beyond. The current client portfolio is rich and varied with unlimited scope for development.
This is a rare and somewhat unique opportunity that would suit either an existing Head of Tax or aspiring Tax Manager/Senior Manager, so

Key Responsibilities: Head up the tax department as part of the senior management team Deliver tax advisory, planning, investigations, and compliance services to a portfolio of SME businesses and HNW individuals Grow the department and build your own tax team Be the ‘go-to’ person for stakeholders. Requirements: Qualified accountant/tax professional – CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent Previous tax advisory experience ideally gained within an accountancy practice Technically strong with experience advising and supporting SME businesses and high net worth (HNW) individuals Commercial acumen and desire to progress both personally and professionally.
