Do you have the skills needed to lead significant data-driven projects within the pensions sector? We are looking for a driven individual to join our Data Solutions Team, within Aon’s UK Retirement business. This is a team that brings together specialists from across our business to deliver project work for clients. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from one of our UK offices. What the day will look like Work with the Technology Lead to develop and maintain standard templates and reports for data extraction and analysis. Review existing processes across the team and improve them, especially using technology and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce risk. Problem-solve a variety of data challenges linked to internal audit and client deliverables. Liaise with multiple stakeholders, including administrators, actuarial/consulting teams, and internal audit, to understand requirements, articulate our work, and help make decisions. Act as a data solutions expert for a portfolio of client projects, utilising your knowledge of data extraction, manipulation, and transformation. Help devise strategies for carrying out the required work within the contractual timescales. Carry out and/or review data modelling work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements. Skills and experience that will lead to success Proficiency in VBA, SQL and Excel, with a preference for experience in pensions administration systems. Have experience with data extraction, manipulation, and transformation projects. A passion for improving processes, especially using technology, and for continuing their own development. Ability to identify project risks/issues, and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate. Be proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to own and deliver the best solutions for Aon. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with various teams and stakeholders.
