Working as part of the HR & Organisational Development team, you will have a specialist focus on Early Years Careers, Early Talent and Apprenticeships for the organisation. In the early stages of this role, you will be developing, coordinating and managing a range of internal staffing apprenticeship programmes starting with an initial online apprenticeship of 3 cohorts/45 people. You will also be coordinating and overseeing the development of further early years engagement and apprenticeship activities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the apprenticeship program, ensuring high-quality training and development opportunities for apprentices. Collaborate with education and training providers to create and maintain strong partnerships. Work with schools and colleges on an early years voluntary experience programme ensuring an appropriate process and safeguarding. Monitor and evaluate the progress of apprentices, providing guidance and support to ensure their success. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our talent and apprenticeship programs. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes professional growth and development.

Candidates We are seeking an experienced Early Years Careers / Apprenticeship Manager who has worked for a large organisation managing a range of apprenticeships and early career talent activities. You will need experience of designing, developing, coordinating and managing early careers / apprenticeships within an HR/OD department for an organisation. Strong communication skills to work both internally and with external partners. Degree in HR/Education / related experiences. Preferable CIPD HR qualifications.

The Offer The role is offered on an initial temporary contract basis via Hays on a weekly timesheet. 3 days per week on site in Bournemouth / 2 home. Initial contract until end of July 2025 with scope of longer term and permanent in future.
