The Opportunity:
Our new Senior Account Executive - Marketing will have the opportunity to work on an incredible range of arts, culture & entertainment clients spanning books, music, visual arts, live events, prizes, exhibitions, festivals, and beyond.
Our clients include internationally renowned organisations such as Affordable Art Fair, Bookshop.org and BookTrust, much loved festivals including Henley Festival and Cliveden Literature Festival, prestigious literary prizes like the Windham Campbell Prizes and Wolfson History Prize, respected organisations like The London Book Fair, and many leading publishers including Bloomsbury, Headline, Pan Macmillan, Penguin Random House, Oxford Children’s, and Dialogue Books not to mention some of the UKs biggest authors in Patricia Cornwell and Maggie O’Farrell.
Who We’re Looking For
As an agency that lives and breathes all things culture, we’re looking for someone who shares our passion for books, culture, heritage and the arts.
The ideal candidate will be an up & coming savvy digital marketer, with a flair for content creation and keen eye on consumer trends. You will have experience of running marketing activity, a passion for social media, great interpersonal skills, and show a talent for visual communication through graphic design & video.
Key Responsibilities:
Play a key role in supporting the Marketing team across a range of projects and campaigns on behalf of a wider range of clients in the publishing & arts sectors
Demonstrate excellent client communication & service delivery, and contribute to the maintenance of positive account relationships
Own & deliver targeted social media campaigns, with input on tactics & outcome, supported by the senior marketing team
Attend client meetings and input into client updates & reports where necessary
Assist the management of our network of influencer & creator talent, and manage limited influencer campaigns
Monitor the digital landscape (including social media updates, influencers, talent agencies, events), including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites and blogs, for opportunities for clients
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key influencer & creator contacts in the books, arts and culture landscape
Design assets for organic & paid social media campaigns
Contribute to Midas social media channels & company website, creating campaigns to build the company profile & celebrate campaign work & successes
Represent Midas at external events, industry forums, conferences, pitches, presentations and seminars
Build strong relationships and networks with colleagues, clients and talent agencies
Skills & Experience:
Strong understanding of social media/digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Some experience on paid social & digital marketing
Experience working with influencers & creators
Understanding of social media platforms & performance analytics
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects at once
A can-do attitude, willing to take on a wide variety of tasks and clients, with the understanding that every task allocated is a learning opportunity
Flexibility, determination, enthusiasm and the ability to cope well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Graphic Design skills a plus, ideally proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign
Demonstrable love of books, culture & the arts a must!
