Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Consultant to join our dynamic team. The IT Consultant will be responsible for providing expert advice, guidance, and support to clients or internal stakeholders on technology systems, infrastructure, cyber security, and business processes. This role involves analysing the client's IT requirements, developing solutions, and implementing systems to optimise operational efficiency, security, and performance. The IT Consultant will work closely with business leaders to align technology strategies with business goals. Responsibilities Technology Assessment and Strategy:

Conduct thorough assessments of existing IT systems and infrastructure. Identify areas for improvement and recommend cost-effective technology solutions. Develop and implement IT strategies that align with business objectives.

System Design and Implementation:

Design IT systems and networks tailored to client needs. Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software. Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and optimised for performance.

Project Management:

Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and business analysts. Monitor project progress and adjust as needed.

Security and Compliance:

Implement robust security protocols to protect data and systems. Ensure IT systems comply with relevant regulations and industry standards. Perform regular audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.

Training and Support:

Provide training to staff on new systems and technologies.

Skills Proven experience as an IT consultant or similar role. Strong programming knowledge in languages such as Python, Javascript, Rust, etc. Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security protocols. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Hack the Box (CBBH), OSCP).
