As our Assistant Project Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting our Project Managers to deliver critical systems, structures, and components within a nuclear power plant programme. You'll gain hands-on experience working on high-impact projects, ensuring the successful execution of key contracts while developing your skills in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment. In particular, this opportunity will enable you to play a key role in the execution of our logistical, supply chain management and asset management strategy which underpins the success of the project. Responsibilities:

Drive efficient storage management by aligning forecasts, costs, and schedules across projects. Champion clear communication of storage, transport, and preservation strategies to key stakeholders. Play a key role in tender evaluations, preparing reports, and refining logistics and storage procedures. Proactively identify and address risks in equipment storage and maintenance. Collaborate with IT to develop a cutting-edge data management tool. Capture lessons learned and bring the Care and Maintenance (C&M) strategy to life through effective processes and documentation. Support hold point reviews by collecting, tracking, and maintaining evidence while ensuring timely updates. Keep projects moving forward by monitoring progress, tracking actions, and driving resolution in key meetings. We're looking for Assistant Project Managers to support project delivery in technically complex and fast-paced environments, where safety, security, and environmental responsibility are paramount. Ideally, you'll bring experience from the nuclear energy sector or another similarly regulated industry. Minimum Requirements:

Degree qualification in an engineering, technical or project management related discipline. Evidence of experience in a project management or support role. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other project management software. Comfortable managing a multi-disciplinary team made up of Engineers or Managers from different disciplines. Previous working experience in a high safety and quality required environment such as Oil & Gas or MoD. Desirable:

Previous engineering or project management experience in the nuclear industry. Formal Project Management experience (such as PMP or APM qualifications or accreditation).
