The Logistics Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations and supervision of all activities within the healthcare cleaning department, ensuring high performance standards and efficient service delivery that meets customer requirements and service level agreements. Your primary focus will be to deliver a first-class service across all areas of responsibility in alignment with ISS quality and standards. As the Logistics Supervisor, you will review work schedules to ensure seamless communication and effective service delivery according to the contract. Responding to customer requirements promptly, politely, and professionally is key, as is carrying out all duties in a courteous manner. You will familiarize yourself with and follow all relevant policies and procedures, actively participating in the company’s Health and Safety policy and reporting any dangers, near misses, or hazards. Ensure the provision of an effective and efficient logistics service under the direction of the Domestic Services Manager / Facilities Manager. Ensure an effective communication channel is maintained within the Domestic Department. Participate in and ensure a consistent approach in all staff issues, including recruitment & selection, sickness absence management, and staff training needs including induction of new staff and departmental appraisal system. Promote a fair and consistent approach for supervision and discipline of staff, participating in the Trust’s Grievance and Disciplinary policies and procedures as appropriate, promoting a good working environment and team spirit. Allocate the workload in line with the planning and maintaining of staff rotas, updating work schedules as required to meet the needs of the service. Organise and complete quality control inspections in conjunction with ward and departmental managers as required. Maintain and complete accurate staff records, work rotas, bonus documentation, and relevant monitoring documentation. Deal with staff queries in a polite, pleasant, and professional manner, authorising staff holidays and arranging staff cover in line with departmental policies. Identify the need for cleaning materials and raise requisitions as necessary. Trial new cleaning materials and equipment as required. Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Previous experience of managing, leading, and motivating a team (preferably from a Warehouse/Stores Environment). Good soft skills and motivational skills. Proactive with great communication skills – written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced multicultural environment. Works well under pressure. The Company
