Risk & Compliance Monitoring Analyst

to join their Edinburgh team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Risk & Compliance monitoring program, with significant emphasis on the delivery of regular monitoring components, market abuse surveillance, client order handling, best execution oversight, and conflicts of interest. This is a great opportunity to join a successful firm. Essential Skills/Experience:

Experience in a monitoring and assurance capacity. Demonstrable experience of delivering to a high standard in a timely manner. Ability to build good relationships and positively influence. Knowledge of specific regulations, legislation, governance, and compliance requirements impacting the role and business. Demonstrated sound judgement and adherence to professional standards. Strong focus on self-improvement and continuous learning, supporting the strategic objectives of the organisation. Ability to communicate information, ideas, plans, requests, and opinions clearly and logically through various channels. Attention to critical details to ensure timely delivery of quality work products. Demonstration of company values in delivering work with integrity and high ethical standards. Understanding of complex interrelationships among business activities and the wider implications of decisions. Core Responsibilities:

Significant emphasis on the delivery of regular monitoring components, market abuse surveillance, client order handling, best execution oversight, and conflicts of interest. Ensuring that identified issues have appropriate mitigating actions discussed with the Head of Risk & Compliance Monitoring before being recommended to the business and tracked to completion. Delivery of high-quality and timely Risk & Compliance monitoring activities, focusing on compliance with regulation, control effectiveness, and fair customer outcomes. Assisting in the delivery of the Risk & Compliance Monitoring Plan (‘RCMP'). Identifying personal development areas and working with the Head of Risk & Compliance Monitoring to implement plans for ongoing development. Developing positive and professional working relationships within Risk & Compliance, with Internal Audit, and across the business. Being proactive, demonstrating well-considered judgements, and anticipating emerging risks. Benefits:
