Sourcing Manager

for our

Duxford, UK

location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: Manage the sourcing of indirect external spend as assigned for the EAP region. Lead and be responsible for sourcing suppliers, developing suppliers, and building mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers. Manage supplier relationships to obtain maximum value according to Hexcel growth initiatives and plans. Determine best options and make recommendations by evaluating total cost and quality of indirect materials and services across a diverse range of categories. Procure critical indirect materials and services to meet forecasts, production/maintenance requirements, and aggressive capital project schedules. Act as an instrumental part in innovating, developing, and implementing leading procurement category strategies, identifying and leveraging company-wide spend opportunities where applicable. Lead complex negotiations and represent sourcing in specific site-level negotiations, which may involve multiple sites with very high spend across multiple categories. Act as a liaison between the sites, suppliers, and stakeholders for assigned projects and initiatives and implement relevant indirect categories strategies as assigned. Continuously improve costs and terms of purchase. Lead in the development and deployment of standard sourcing processes. Lead, support or supervise complex supplier negotiations in strict adherence to Hexcel Law and Contracts guidelines, Hexcel Sites, and Hexcel Stakeholders. Define, deploy, and manage comprehensive Risk Management strategies for assigned categories and all responsible suppliers. Qualifications: University Degree in science, engineering, economics, or business preferred. Experience in purchasing, finance, supply chain, or sourcing. Result-oriented with strong written and oral communication skills. Leadership qualities, dynamic and self-motivated. Take initiative to identify opportunities, propose solutions, and drive positive change. Strategic thinker, skilled negotiator, commercially astute with strong interpersonal and influencing skills. Ability to manage competing priorities in a highly matrix organization. Problem-solving skills and creative thinking. MS Office including advanced Excel skills to support analysis (pivots, charts, macros, etc.). ERP system experience in the finance and/or procurement/supply chain area (Microsoft platforms, SAP, etc.). Candidates must be eligible to work in the country where the position is based.
