Your new company You will be working for a market-leading industrial supply business based in Warwick. They are experiencing a period of growth and require an experienced demand planner to come on board and help develop the standard operating practices.

Your new role In this role you will maximise demand planning by creating accurate demand plans using historical sales data to ensure timely and complete deliveries from key suppliers. Purchase stock and supplies per SOPs, maintain effective supplier communication, monitor shipments, and resolve issues promptly. Set up new parts according to SOPs, conduct regular audits to maintain data integrity, and correct discrepancies. Report on KPIs, implement actions to address performance deviations, and engage colleagues in maximising ERP system use to meet customer needs. Monitor supplier OTIF performance, provide relevant data for reviews, and resolve supplier issues promptly. Contribute to company success by supporting and participating in projects like process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will need a minimum of 1 year's experience in demand planning as well as experience in production forecasting, ERP/MRP systems and highly skilled with Excel. The role requirements are based around five key performance competencies- Planning and organisation, using initiative, work quality, customer responsiveness and communication. The ability to demonstrate examples of these indicators will be advantageous. This role will require someone who is a self-starter and can work autonomously.

What you'll get in return For this role you will receive a permanent contract alongside an annual salary of up to £40,000 DOE. The role is based on site in Warwick, 08:30am to 17:00pm Monday to Friday. There is some consideration for limited home working such as 1 day a week.
