Clinical/Neuro Psychologist

to join one of our private clients at one of their services which provides neurological rehabilitation and complex care. This is a great opportunity for you to alter lives for the better and assist some of the most vulnerable people in society. Within this role, you will be responsible for the conduct of risk assessments, MDT work, diagnostic and cognitive assessment, as well as individual and group interventions, all of which will report directly to the Consultant Psychologist. In addition, you will be expected to develop and deliver training and lead staff reflective practice sessions. You will have the knowledge and ability to oversee a service user's caseload as a clinical or neuropsychologist, which includes evaluating their complicated needs and creating and administering specialised psychological treatments that enhance their care plans.

What you'll do: Involvement in referral evaluation and offering a first assessment for clients referred to the service. Establishing independent clinical decisions and carrying out excellent direct (therapeutic and assessment) and indirect (consultative, advising, and evaluative) specialised psychological interventions. Provide therapeutic support to service users with complex needs, conducting assessments through a variety of structured psychometric and semi-structured clinical techniques. Developing and executing specialist psychological treatment plans or management strategies for addressing patients' mental health needs, grounded in a comprehensive psychological understanding and up-to-date evidence-based best practices. Maintaining a professional manner and being legally accountable for all aspects of care along with the clinical work. Continuously maintaining exceptionally high standards of care in every aspect of the practice, ensuring the work is in accordance with the HCPC Code of conduct, as well as professional guidelines and Company Policies and Procedures.

What we're looking for: HCPC registered. BPS recognised psychology degree. Necessary post-graduate credentials and the position of a chartered psychologist. Supervisor authorised by the BPS and the appropriate division. Understanding of evidence-based psychological practice. Previous expertise interacting with individuals who have cognitive impairments. Expertise using psychological concepts in a clinical or neurological setting. Prior experience conducting research and project work.
