Registered Manager - EBD Children's Homes

Salary: £62,500 - £72,500 per annum, plus bonuses Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Location: Birmingham

The Role

As the Registered Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of two EBD homes, providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children and young people. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring excellent care standards, team development, and compliance with Ofsted and Children's Home Regulations (2015).

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and managing the operations of two children's homes specialising in EBD. Driving outstanding outcomes in line with Ofsted standards. Supporting the personal, educational, and emotional development of children and young people. Overseeing recruitment, training, and development to build and retain a high-performing team. Managing budgets, administrative systems, and care plans to ensure operational efficiency. Promoting a positive, therapeutic environment to help young people thrive.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

At least 5 years in residential childcare, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role. Qualifications:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in a childcare setting (or a commitment to achieving this qualification). Knowledge:

A strong understanding of Ofsted standards, EBD care, and child development. Skills:

Exceptional leadership, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
