We are a well-established plumbing and air conditioning company based in Milton Keynes, serving both domestic and commercial sectors. We are currently seeking a skilled Plumber & AC Engineer with strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and installing air conditioning systems. Experience in plumbing is highly beneficial for this role. This position requires an individual who can read and interpret schematics, troubleshoot effectively, and perform maintenance and repairs on both plumbing and AC systems. You will play an important role in ensuring the efficient performance of both plumbing systems and air conditioning units across various settings.

Responsibilities

Design, install, and maintain air conditioning systems in both domestic and commercial settings Perform plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on existing systems to ensure operational efficiency Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in plumbing and air conditioning systems, providing timely solutions to minimise downtime Read and interpret technical schematics for both plumbing and AC systems Collaborate with team members to lead projects and ensure safety standards are met Provide guidance and training to junior staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of parts Demonstrate leadership abilities and manage projects effectively Complete digital job sheets via provided iPad Skills and Experience Strong mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning systems and plumbing Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of both plumbing and air conditioning equipment Ability to read and understand technical schematics Leadership and project management skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on quality and efficiency Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients A minimum of 2 years' experience in plumbing and/or air conditioning engineering is required Benefits Include Company van and fuel card Uniform Health insurance Competitive pay rates Christmas holidays off A variety of work with opportunities to learn new skills Further training to develop your expertise across both domestic and commercial sectors Requirements
