Civils Avoidance Engineer . This position will be field-based in and around the Bristol area. Pay:
£100 flat day rate – this is currently being done on a 3 month trial basis. An additional £30 for successful blockages will be paid per man. Who are MJ Quinn? We believe in creating great connections, with our customers, our people, and our world. Responsibilities: Hand rodding and jetting to clear blockages. Test Rod & Roping. Proving the Openreach and PIA network. Pull in sub duct & cable in Openreach & PIA networks UG. Locating blockages & updating required systems with box to box. Producing A55s Requirements. Experience of Test Rod & Roping / cabling the Openreach network. PIA network experience. Locate blockages and establish clear routes. Produce A55’s in consultation with fibre supervisor. Completion and submission of all necessary documentation. Experience & Skills required: Full UK driving licence, with no more than 6 penalty points and no bans within the last 12 months. A legal right to work in the UK. Hold a valid NRSWA street works operative unit 2. Confident at working at underground network. Cabling/Civils Avoidance experience. K008. Jetting. SA002.
