This privately owned, award winning business has been operating for 150+ years and is one of Lancashire’s largest employers. This all-encompassing Management Accountant role offers the opportunity to add value in many areas, being involved in various projects and process improvements, whilst remaining hands-on in routine accounting duties with business partnering elements. Receiving ongoing support from an engaging Finance lead, specific responsibilities will include: Preparation of management accounts including detailed commentary and analysis Providing financial support in various projects Preparation of annual budgets Supporting with the year end accounting process Reviewing existing processes, providing recommendations for improvements and implementing these where possible Liaising with various stakeholders within the business, providing meaningful financial information and advice Overseeing the work of the junior finance team members, mentoring and coaching to enable skills advancement Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The successful candidate will be fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), or actively studying and approaching full qualification. You will be proven in a similar management accounting role and demonstrate strong business partnering capabilities with the confidence to communicate and build relationships with various internal and external stakeholders. Advanced Excel ability is desirable with the ability to handle and manipulate large data volumes. Ongoing support and training will be provided to enable career development and long-term success within your role.
