You will be joining the consultant on call rota of 1:8, expected to cover for colleagues' absence from duty on the basis of mutually agreed arrangements with the Department and Employing Trust. As an experienced consultant, you will provide clinical leadership and supervision for junior medical and nursing staff within the department. You will ensure adequate arrangements for hospital staff involved in the care of patients, to be able to contact them when necessary, and to observe the current local arrangements for advising details of leave.
