Overview At Infiniti Care we are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality domiciliary and supported living care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and independence for those in need. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of empathy and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they care for. This role is vital in ensuring that clients receive the necessary care and companionship, fostering a safe and nurturing environment. Duties Assist with personal care – washing, bathing, dressing, and toileting. Support with household tasks – bed-making, laundry, and light cleaning. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation and activities that promote mental well-being. Administer medication in line with care plans. Monitor and document clients’ health status, reporting any changes to the line manager and appropriate healthcare professionals. Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily activities. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed. Offer dignified end-of-life care, when needed. Skills Experience in care (domiciliary, supported living, hospice) is preferred but not essential. A compassionate and patient nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
