Design Engineer (Mechanical)

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team, specializing in HVAC and mechanical building services. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong background in designing air conditioning, ventilation, and heating systems for commercial and industrial projects. You will be responsible for delivering innovative and efficient mechanical solutions from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed mechanical designs for HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver tailored building services solutions. Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements and verify design feasibility. Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using relevant design tools and software. Analyze and calculate heating, cooling, and ventilation loads to ensure energy efficiency. Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. Provide technical support and guidance to the project team throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure designs adhere to health and safety regulations, as well as environmental and sustainability standards. Requirements: Proven experience in mechanical design within the building services sector, with a focus on HVAC systems. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar tools. Strong understanding of industry regulations, codes, and standards. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
