You will be based from home, repairing and installing a range of strapping machines. Equipment used within various industries such as food, construction, pharma, and distribution found at the end of the production or packaging line. Visiting a range of well-known and prestigious clients. Conducting preplanned maintenance and service calls, with occasional breakdown requests. The role is 50% mechanical, 50% electrical, so will suit a multiskilled engineer. A Mon - Fri role working 45 hours (including travel time). Most experienced engineers are working 38 - 40 hours per week. The Candidate for the Field Service Engineer:

Hold a formal engineering qualification such as City and Guilds, HNC, HND, NVQ, apprenticeship, or an electrical qualification. Previous field service experience or have been an engineer within the armed forces. Multiskilled background. Basic understanding of PLC fault finding (training can be provided). Strong customer service skills. Good administrative and accurate reporting. Hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship. The Package for the Field Service Engineer:

£38,000 - £45,000 Basic Salary, depending on experience. Company bonus + daily lunch allowance + company credit card. Weekend overtime available paid at £32ph. Company vehicle (Electric or Hybrid). Pension (8% company contribution), Mobile, Tablet. Death in Service (4x Salary). Specialist tools, uniform, PPE provided.
