- £30,000-£40,000 per annum, dependent on experience My client designs and manufactures specialist solutions for Engineering. They are looking for a Sales Engineer to join their team in the Southampton area on a permanent basis. Attributes of the Sales Engineer:

Experienced in Technical Sales, with knowledge of quotations, technical specifications, and orders Strong understanding of Construction / Engineering Projects Knowledge of pipes, valves, pumps, etc. HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ / Degree qualified in Engineering or similar Keen to develop as part of an organisation long term Good time management skills Self-motivated and driven Proficient with using Microsoft Office; CRM database knowledge would be a plus Excellent communication skills Able to work well individually as well as part of a team Responsibilities of the Sales Engineer:

Working directly with customers to understand their requirements and produce quotations and orders Understanding the technical side of how their products are designed and built Processing and progressing sales Reacting to inquiries Investigating and resolving sales enquiries from both customers and distributors Offering a proactive Account Management approach for Distributors and updating customers regularly Liaising with different departments and colleagues as required Having the opportunity to grow with the company long term If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible.
