automation and mechatronic within a manufacturing environment ? This expertise is essential for this role, as the business has ambitious plans to expand automation capabilities over the next two years. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Site Engineering Lead to join the senior leadership team at a fast-paced manufacturing site. You will lead the engineering function, driving improvements in operational efficiency and delivering transformational change in line with strategic goals. The Role: As Site Engineering Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the site s engineering operations. Your main responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing automation and mechatronics solutions to support long-term growth and operational excellence. Leading the engineering team to deliver improved OEE, optimise processes, and ensure sustained performance improvements. Managing budgets, spare parts, and engineering projects to ensure efficient resource allocation and cost control. Building and developing a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders, driving buy-in for strategic initiatives. Utilising best practices and lessons learned from internal and external sources to deliver continuous improvement initiatives. About You: To thrive in this role, you will need: A Degree or HND in Engineering (or equivalent), or extensive Engineering Management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Proven expertise in

automation and/or mechatronic

within a manufacturing environment. Experience leading and developing engineering teams, with a track record of delivering change and improvement. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing at all levels. A proactive, curious mindset with a strong drive to identify and implement innovative solutions. Advanced IT skills, including proficiency with Excel and other project management tools. A positive, solutions-focused attitude aligned with the company s values.
