The role & about the client:
On behalf of our client, ITS Building People are searching for an experienced Project Manager to join a dynamic, forward-thinking Tier 1 Main Contractor for a project based in Berkshire.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead and inspire a multi-skilled team and set the tone for large infrastructure projects Take charge of all aspects of project delivery from initiation, planning and design, to delivery, monitoring, commissioning and handover Be part of something big by helping our client to connect communities and build sustainably Benefit from a project management development pathway towards chartership with the Association for Project Management Prove yourself and lead bigger and bigger projects in a rapidly growing industry Build relationships with clients and other stakeholders The ideal candidate: Project delivery experience to ensure our client meets high quality and safety standards Experience in construction (fit out) Strong communication skills to manage, mentor and empower your team The confidence and credibility to liaise with business leaders Commercial acumen to control costs and keep projects within budget Understanding of standard forms of contracts and performance evaluation techniques Essential Qualifications/Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or a related field or NVQ equivalent SMSTS First Aid CSCS Managers Card The ITS Group is committed to promoting equal opportunities in employment.
