GB Construction. Milton Keynes Founded in 2009, GB Construction manages and delivers a diverse range of construction projects for both Public and Private sector clients taking ideas from conception, design and completion. We pride ourselves on our versatility and ability to deliver a broad spectrum of Civil, structural and agricultural projects, with experienced staff in all sectors. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills with an eye for detail. This role is crucial for ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently, providing support to both staff and management. A background in the Construction Industry would be desirable but not essential. Main Duties & Responsibilities Administrative Support : Provide general administrative support to the management team and staff, including filing, record-keeping, and documentation. Scheduling meetings, managing correspondence. Maintaining office supplies and ordering materials if requested by construction engineers. Implement and maintain efficient clerical systems to enhance workflow. Manage incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing enquiries to the appropriate personnel. Invoicing : Process and manage invoicing for office and site-related work. Attendance & Leave Management : Track and manage employee attendance and time-off requests (annual leave, sick leave, etc.). Ensure accurate record-keeping of employee absences and attendance for payroll processing. Organise and manage timesheets for both office and site staff, ensuring timely submission and accuracy. Skills : Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information across all levels of the organisation. Proficient in administrative tasks with a keen attention to detail. Demonstrated experience in team management and supervising staff members. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. A solid understanding of general office procedures and practices. Job Types:
