Surrey (Hybrid) Are you passionate about IT systems and ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic environment? Our top-tier MSP client is looking for an IT Systems Engineer to join a dedicated team. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our cutting-edge customer IT environments, spanning across hardware, software, and network solutions. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert technical support and administration for customer IT infrastructure. Implement patches, configure servers, and ensure seamless backups and restores. Collaborate with our Systems Management team to maintain system performance and cybersecurity protocols. Build and deploy IT hosting infrastructures, including storage, virtual environments, and email systems. Contribute to 24/7 on-call support, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues. Skills and Qualifications: Degree (2:1) in IT/Engineering or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years in an MSP environment. Proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Windows 10/11 environments. Strong knowledge of VMware, TCP/IP networking, and IT security practices. Experience with endpoint management tools like Endpoint Central, Veeam, or PRTG is desirable. Certifications such as Microsoft or VMware are advantageous.
