As an Activities Worker, you will deliver a range of appealing and engaging social/recreational activities, providing exciting opportunities for our residents. Organising outings and events, your creative flair and passion to provide variety and choice will really make a difference to the lives of people with a disability that we support.
Previous experience of activities work or working with and supporting people with disabilities is advantageous. An artistic flair, great organisational skills, or interest in arranging fantastic social activities is a must! A manual driving licence held for at least 2 years is not essential but desirable.
A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday. Gloucestershire House is a purpose-built building, with six separate additional bungalows, for 36 adults with physical disabilities. This service is rated outstanding by CQC.
