The successful candidate will be part of a post trade business Product Development team focused on Derivatives Clearing (Futures, OTC, FXPB) products and projects, with a special focus on Futures products. You will own the product roadmap and be responsible for providing strategic direction and business input on platform initiatives, focusing on deliverables that drive business growth and serve client interests while adhering to internal and regulatory policies. The individual, as part of the Product development team, will act as the key link between Client facing teams, Product Managers, Operations, Technology and Control functions. You will work closely with: Operations Change Management

to lay out operational process flows, establish roles & responsibilities, identify control gaps, and ensure that all the non-technical deliverables that make a successful product release are covered. Technology

to produce detailed product roadmaps outlining quarterly deliverables and provide inputs on project plans and implementation approach. Internal Citi teams

for regulatory requests, including responding to surveys from regulators, and managing liquidity buffers required by the regulators. You will be required to oversee projects, including ongoing Management Information Systems (MIS) initiatives such as the automation of data feeds for FX Prime Brokerage and the migration of MIS platforms. What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are: Managing business P&L across Futures, OTC Clearing and FX Prime Brokerage. This entails reviewing large P&L movements daily, as well as reconciling final month-end P&L. Produce business revenue projections and track performance against these projections, review cost attribution framework to improve profitability of platform and run capital calculations on sample portfolios from prospective clients. Drive product development in key strategic business focus areas such as connectivity to new clearinghouses, rollout of new products, client tools, margin and treasury workflows, and market structure changes. Define problem statements and prepare detailed concept definitions with input from Citi SMEs, deliver/review business requirements for Product Development, ensuring that a structured approach to market analysis is adopted, commercial judgement exercised, and requirements are agreed by all key stakeholders. Assess new enhancement requests and prioritize according to Criticality, Effort and Resourcing levels. Oversee testing, release, and support process. Generate product awareness among users, working closely with client facing Sales and Client Executive teams. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services. The successful candidate will challenge operational inefficiencies, drive continuous process improvement and champion new ways of working to improve productivity and client service metrics, whilst also understanding client needs, service pain-points and collect client feedback on planned new product features. What we will need from you: You will have significant product experience related to Futures, OTC Clearing and FX PB. Technical and operational understanding with sufficient knowledge to steer platform design and deliverables that touch the following areas: Trade booking models Margin workflows – margin call management, cash and collateral settlement, collateral haircut application, ISA compliance for excess cash/ collateral. Treasury workflows – excess/deficit computation for cash and collateral, collateral booking models, interest received vs posted and interest data capture. Collateral Optimization You will have knowledge of referential data systems (account, security, price) and the ability to advise on appropriate reference data usage in trade flows and position management. Deep knowledge of account structures including customer, proprietary, broker, affiliate, and experience in designing and implementing account structures that meet business needs and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with global regulatory regimes and regulatory requirements with experience implementing systems, processes to support the regulatory framework: large trader, open interest reporting requirements for futures and options clearing and client money rules. Highly skilled in Excel with the ability to automate processing of large data sets, clean and normalize data, join multiple data sets, apply complex rules to generate meaningful business insights. Must have experience in Python to perform the above tasks. Must be able to plan and organize own workload within tight deadlines and be able to work under pressure always displaying initiative, donning multiple hats as needed for a deliverable, and demonstrate a desire to contribute to discussions around process improvement and system enhancements. This role will appeal to the intellectually curious and analytical who are comfortable working with multiple, complex, and incomplete data sets using data to craft compelling narratives.
