As a #TrafficTransformer apprentice at Yunex Traffic, you will work on real-life projects and receive guided support while experiencing various areas within the business. We seek apprentices who are passionate about making a difference in the world. This apprenticeship will be a Level 3 program over a 4-year period. The Candidate

Role Specific Requirements

Align with our Yunex Traffic values: Zero Harm, Innovation, Customer Focus, and Ownership. Willingness to travel to multiple Yunex Traffic sites across the UK for training.

Essential Skills

Enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions. Willingness to self-learn, research, and creatively solve problems. Good organizational and time management skills. Take ownership of challenges and ideas. Be forward-thinking and inquisitive. Willing to learn to drive, ideally by Year 2 of the apprenticeship (dependent on age).

Basic Skills

Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Effective listening and teamwork skills. IT literate; proficient in Microsoft Office packages.

Key Responsibilities

Installation of traffic signal assets and ancillary equipment. Complete electrical tests and pre-commissioning activities. Liaise with customers and contractors on-site. Ensure works are completed according to site specifications and quality standards. Cross-train in additional areas, such as fault administration and maintenance. Conduct periodic inspections with electrical testing. Perform routine maintenance of highways infrastructure.

Minimum Educational Requirements

4 National 5 qualifications at A-C, including Maths and English (or equivalent). Desirable
