Job Description Are you a strategically driven Director looking to make a positive contribution in a growing business in your next role? Having secured several long-term frameworks through successful project and programme wins and with increasing client satisfaction we are currently seeking to hire a key strategic Director in our UK Infrastructure business. You will take the lead in growing our client relationships within the Yorkshire, Northeast region as well as having a direct impact in supporting our national initiatives, as such this role requires individuals who are happy to be mobile across the UK. You will be commercially minded and motivated in cultivating and developing relationships. You will need to have demonstrable experience in leading delivery of commissions, working at strategic levels with clients. Qualifications A proven and experienced leader of diverse teams across multi sectors such as rail, aviation, utilities, power, highways, local authorities. A background in one of Turner & Townsend's key service lines Cost Management, Project Management or Project Controls. Alternatively, an engineering background with in-depth experience of capital programme delivery would be equally applicable. Experience of leading and managing Major Programmes and Projects from business case to close out and benefits realisation. Experience in leading and managing teams. Working knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts. Demonstrable experience in leading successful business generation activities including bidding at all levels, networking, pursuit planning and client engagement and management. Ability to develop and grow client relationships across all levels of an organisation. Procurement, asset management, or advisory (programme set up or performance improvement) would be desirable. Experience of inclusion on both client and internal boards, setting strategy and successfully delivering these including resourcing and growth strategies to deliver growth targets. Behaviours and attributes Strong leadership and ability to build and motivate a high performing team. Strong proven commercial acumen leading to growth. Experience of managing and leading multi-disciplinary and multi-organisational teams. Flexible and adaptable in approaching challenges with a proactive attitude to seeking innovative solutions to the challenges.
