Anderselite is recruiting an experienced Site Manager with a background in shopfitting to lead and manage high-quality retail and commercial fit-out projects. This role requires regular travel across the UK and will involve staying away from home to oversee sites and ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines. Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow. Ensure projects meet client expectations in quality and safety. Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high standards of health and safety compliance. Liaise effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to maintain clear communication. Identify and resolve issues promptly to avoid delays. Prepare site documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and method statements. Ensure accurate recording of materials and labour on-site.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in site management, specifically in shopfitting or fast-track fit-out projects. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations (e.g., CDM, RAMS). Valid SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS certifications are essential. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams. Strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset. Flexibility to travel across the UK and stay overnight as required. A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
