About the Role: As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient management of the warehouse functions, ensuring operations run smoothly while driving productivity and profitability. This is a key leadership role where you will play a critical part in logistics planning, team motivation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure seamless execution. Plan and manage logistics, including setting and reporting on targets. Lead, motivate, and manage the warehouse team to meet and exceed expectations. Monitor operational expenditure and identify opportunities for cost efficiency. Train and develop warehouse personnel to ISO9001 standards. Maintain high standards of health and safety within the branch. Drive quality assurance initiatives to ensure compliance with company policies. Develop and implement strategies to optimise warehouse productivity and profitability. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote employee engagement.
About You: The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of experience in Warehouse Management, ideally within the Wholesale & Distribution or a similar sector. You will be commercially aware, proactive, and confident in your ability to lead under pressure. Strong business acumen, decision-making skills, and a passion for operational excellence are essential.
Requirements: A minimum of 3 years' experience in Warehouse Management (essential). Experience within Wholesale & Distribution or a similar sector (essential). Proven ability to lead and develop teams. Strong health and safety knowledge. Excellent organisational and decision-making skills.
