The Director role is a strategic leadership position in the Accounting & Finance department of our Professional Services company. The role requires in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as exceptional leadership skills to drive the team's success. Client Details Our client is a well-established professional services firm specialising in Accounting & Finance. They provide comprehensive services to a wide range of clients. Based in Sussex, they are known for their commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. Description Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure. Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the company. Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required. Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis. Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives. Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines. Develop strategies to maximise ROI and meet the company's financial objectives. Lead and motivate the Accounting & Finance department to achieve excellent performance levels. Profile A successful Director should have: Must hold RI status. Professional certification (e.g. ACA/ACCA) Proven experience in a leadership role within a finance department. Strong understanding of finance law and regulatory standards. Broad experience covering general practice including accounts, tax and audit. High proficiency in financial software and analytics programs. Job Offer A competitive salary. Performance-based bonus.
