A great opportunity has become available for a reliable and skilled Contracts Manager to join a dynamic regional company recognised for developing and training its staff to succeed in their roles. Based in Portsmouth, you will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £70,000 + Car Allowance and excellent benefits. Mountjoy is an expanding construction and maintenance company specialising in providing professional and high-quality construction, refurbishment, building maintenance and facilities management services across the south of England. As part of the Building Projects team, you will be responsible for leading and directing the delivery of a wide range of Construction & Refurbishment projects with values from circa £250k to £3.5 million across various sectors. Provide support to the Operations Manager and Building Projects Director Co-ordinate production of Pre-Construction information as required Ensure compliance with the Construction Management System (CMS) Oversee the operational delivery of contracts ensuring the client’s objectives are met Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality management Appoint or take ownership of the project role of Temporary Works Co-ordinator Lead and support Site Managers in the delivery of their roles Manage contracts with robust contract administration and financial discipline Ensure relevant construction programmes are produced and maintained Establish and manage an effective supply chain Ensure timely valuations and contractual procedures are met Provide progress reports and updates to clients and the Executive Ensure contracts are working efficiently using performance measures Identify future clients and build relationships to secure future work What we are looking for in our Contracts Manager:

Professional qualification (MCIOB) or Degree/HNC qualified Temporary Works Co-Ordinator SMSTS First Aid (3 day) Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction management Use of Programming Software (Ideally MS Projects) If you feel you have the skills and experience to become our Contracts Manager then please click “apply” now – We’d love to hear from you!
