As an Exchange Operations Analyst at LMAX Exchange, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of our institutional trading platform. Working within the London Exchange Operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring LMAX markets, onboarding and supporting Exchange members, and providing operational and technical assistance to clients and third parties. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Manage relationships with Exchange Members, Liquidity Providers, Prime Brokers, Central Counterparties, post-trade vendors, and market data vendors to ensure seamless operations. Provide operational and technical support to Exchange members, third parties, and clients, including FIX & API onboarding, network integration, account setup, and trade flow configurations. Oversee the technical onboarding of new and existing Exchange members, optimising their platform setups to ensure best performance. Monitor Member Credit Limits and liaise with Banks and Prime Brokers for credit limit administration. Continuously monitor and maintain the markets, ensuring the stability and efficiency of the Exchange. Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies, trade queries, and breaks, performing trade reconciliations throughout the day. Assist in the setup of new Exchanges and Trading Venues for both internal and external stakeholders. Manage, prioritise, and escalate issues raised by members or third parties, working closely with the development team to meet business and client needs. Maintain and update operational and technical documentation, including API specifications, process workflows, and market information documents. Work collaboratively with the Sales and Liquidity teams to understand and support client requirements effectively. Build and maintain strong relationships with Exchange Members’ technical support and onboarding teams. Liaise closely with internal departments, including Sales, IT/Development, Compliance, Liquidity, and Finance. Participate in shift work covering London and New York time zones, including weekend on-call shifts. Requirements:

University degree or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively. Ability to understand complex financial products. Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude to understand Exchange technology and trading concepts. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A proactive and innovative mindset, eager to take on new challenges. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to work weekends or evenings when required. Previous experience in an Exchange environment. Experience in an operational and/or technical support role. Knowledge of the financial sector and the trade life cycle. Familiarity with the FIX protocol and programming languages such as Python, Java, or .NET APIs. Additional language skills are advantageous.
