has an exciting opportunity for an Area Supply Chain Digitalization Manager in Chiswick, London. ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES To lead the Supply Chain digital transformation journey in alignment with Global Strategic objectives of BAT, principally the deployment of the “Ultimate Control Tower” concept across all Western Europe supply chains to create fit-for-future organization. The Area Supply Chain Digitalization Manager will work towards enhancing the digital core & capabilities within Western Europe to drive excellence in connecting customers/demand and optimizing planning activities end-to-end to achieve an “Ultimate Control Tower-integrated into decision making” by ensuring effective collaboration across cluster supply chain teams, SNO, demand planning and Centre of Excellence (CoE) teams. Your key responsibilities will include: Lead the Ultimate Control Tower & Digitalization journey for WE Supply chain by: Shaping the strategic digitalisation agenda for Western Europe. Developing & deploying new tools enabling automated end-to-end supply chain visibility with integrated predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities. Embedding new digitalised way of working to core supply chain processes. Conducting necessary benchmark of way of working and identification of improvement opportunities through digitalisation and automation. Supporting the CoE teams in upscaling Western Europe digital solutions to enable their reapplication beyond the DRBU. Facilitate cross-functional workshops to identify gaps and build a pathway for the development and deployment of UCT and capabilities to ensure Supply Chain maturity progression vs plan. Lead agile project management meetings with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring effective delivery of the digital development and deployment workstreams. Lead capability building & organizational effectiveness by mapping the new digital skills required at role profile level and developing training programs across the organization. Conduct necessary benchmarking reviews vs best practice operations (internal or external). Drive the development of individuals and teams by acting as a role model and living the BAT values, coordination of training plans and coaching.
