What you’ll do Conceptualise, develop, and execute innovative design solutions across a range of disciplines, including graphic, product, structural packaging, service, and occasionally environmental design. Collaborate with Design Directors and cross-functional teams to define design strategies and ensure seamless project execution from concept to launch. Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high-quality standards. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Actively participate in new business development initiatives, contributing to pitches, presentations, and client proposals. Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand client needs, target audiences, and market trends, informing design decisions and ensuring impactful outcomes. Present design concepts and rationale to clients and internal stakeholders, effectively communicating your vision and securing buy-in. Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and design trends, continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth and sharing knowledge with the team. What you’ll need Demonstrable experience as a 3D designer, with a compelling portfolio showcasing a diverse range of product/industrial design projects. Expert proficiency in Rhino 3D, Keyshot, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, essential for creating high-quality visuals and design assets. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication techniques, and construction technology, enabling you to design for feasibility and efficient production. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively articulate design concepts, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with diverse teams. A proactive and highly organized approach to project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. A genuine passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to pushing creative boundaries and delivering innovative solutions. A strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and visual communication, ensuring aesthetically pleasing and impactful designs.
