How you'll help us live our purpose Principal Channels Architect 12 Months Fixed Term Contract We've been helping our members save for their future and buy a home of their own since 1845. And you can play your part too as a Principal Channels Architect within our largest transformation programme and will be our technical authority for our channels solutions. How you'll make a difference We are currently looking to recruit a Principal Channels Architect on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. This person will have strategic architectural assurance oversight within our Core programme – the largest transformation programme in the Society's 140 year history. This is a replacement of our core banking systems with a modern SaaS cloud ecosystem. Utilising your extensive breadth of omni channel experience (e.g digital, contact centre etc) you will define the target architecture and transition roadmaps, assure the High Level Designs produced by the Solution Architects as well as having the responsibility for strategic technical direction for our core transformation programme. We are looking for a pragmatic decision maker. What you'll bring to the role: Proven track record of performing the lead architecture role in transformational change using Microsoft Cloud technologies. Specialist knowledge of channel technologies (e.g., digital experience, identity and access management, content management, voice and IVR and Microsoft technologies such as Dynamics 365) Experience in utilising public cloud platforms and the delivery of cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions Strong senior stakeholder engagement skills Experience of modern architectural approaches (API-centric, containerisation, microservices, event driven) Experience of driving strategic direction through the creation of technology roadmaps within a large complex transformation programme.
