Head of Reward

at the University of Law and make a meaningful impact on our People and Organisational Development agenda. As the Head of Reward, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the University's reward strategy. This pivotal role will oversee pay, reward, and benefits programs, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the University. You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders to design and deliver innovative reward strategies and support equality, diversity, and inclusion in everything we do. This is a home-based role offering flexibility, with occasional travel to UK campuses, working on a fixed term contract for 12 months. As our Head of Reward, you will: Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive reward and recognition strategy. Manage pay structures, benefits, and grading systems aligned to career levels and job families. Conduct salary benchmarking and oversee annual pay reviews. Ensure compliance with pay-related regulations, including Gender and Ethnicity Pay Gap reporting. Develop and mentor the Reward Team while embedding best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Is this you?: We are looking for a confident and collaborative professional who combines deep expertise in reward and compensation with strong leadership capabilities. MCIPD qualified with extensive experience in reward and compensation. In-depth and well-rounded experience in a dedicated reward/compensation & benefits role. Demonstrable experience of redeveloping reward spend whilst increasing employee engagement and retention. Experience in Gender Pay Gap reporting and managing Job Evaluation. Leadership expertise with line management experience. You'll play a crucial role in driving employee engagement and retention while working alongside a committed leadership team in a collaborative environment. Why join us?
