As a key member of the team, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of a detailed integration roadmap, working closely with both internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
Lead and manage large-scale integration projects related to Swift messaging systems, Avaloq core banking solutions, and other wealth management technologies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Integration Roadmap:
Develop and drive a comprehensive integration roadmap, ensuring key milestones are met for Swift messaging services (including MT/ISO20022) and Avaloq integration into the wealth management environment.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with senior stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure clear communication of project goals, timelines, risks, and deliverables. Act as the main point of contact for all project-related matters.
Wealth Management Expertise:
Provide insight and expertise on wealth management processes and systems, helping to align technical solutions with business requirements for wealth management operations, including trading, compliance, and reporting.
Risk & Issue Management:
Proactively manage risks, issues, and changes related to project scope, timelines, and resources. Develop mitigation plans and lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful resolution.
Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with external vendors and third-party service providers, ensuring that contractual obligations are met and project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Team Leadership:
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including developers, testers, and business analysts, ensuring smooth project execution and adherence to best practices.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that all project deliverables comply with relevant financial regulations and industry standards, particularly for wealth management services and integration with financial messaging networks.
Reporting & Documentation:
Provide regular project status updates to senior management, maintaining detailed project documentation, including scope, timelines, risks, and budgets.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Extensive experience in programme and project management, specifically with integration projects in the financial services sector.
In-depth knowledge of
Swift Integration , including experience with Swift messaging formats (MT and ISO20022) and their application within financial institutions.
Proven experience with
Avaloq
core banking platform implementations, particularly within the wealth management domain.
Strong understanding of
wealth management
processes, including client onboarding, portfolio management, trading, compliance, and reporting.
Certifications: PMP, Prince2, or other project management certification highly desirable.
Relevant technical certifications in
Swift
or
Avaloq
are a plus.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of financial messaging systems and integration protocols, with experience in SwiftNet, FIN, and the broader financial services integration ecosystem.
Understanding of
API integration ,
data mapping , and
middleware solutions
for seamless system connectivity.
Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, MS Project, etc.).
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
