What you will do: Collaborate with Product Owner and Development teams to define Acceptance Criteria Actively participate in all phases of software development lifecycles Analyse requirements, design, develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts Analyse testing results and provide detailed reports on software quality Mentor other team members Contribute to automation test scripts and frameworks Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues Actively participate in sharing knowledge and building INSTANDA community Implement testing techniques and strategies Continuously improve testing processes and identify areas for enhancement Additionally, Senior level candidates will also be involved in: Leading and overseeing testing efforts across multiple projects or teams Developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies aligned with project goals Performing complex testing, including performance, security, and API testing Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define quality metrics and success criteria Providing guidance and knowledge sharing with the wider QA Team Requirements Essential: At least 3+ years' experience with manual or automated software testing Professional experience with deployment and testing tools such as Octopus, Test Rail, Jira, etc. Experience with user-configurable software, which works according to business rules configured by non-technical users Proficiency in manual testing and exposure to automation tools Hands-on experience with API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger A strong understanding of HTML and CSS Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git) Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and testing lifecycle (SDLC/STLC) Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills - we are a fast paced, agile environment Flexible, resilient, and commercial attitude coupled with a high degree of intellectual curiosity Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders (other teams, vendors, suppliers, etc.) Strong sense of ownership and accountability Desirable: Experience writing scripts using C# is an asset Previous exposure working with a SaaS product, a high growth company or in the insurance industry is an asset ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing Benefits Competitive salary Generous 28 days holiday allowance, in addition to public holidays For every year of service you complete, we'll give you an additional days holiday (max. 5 days) One Dynamic Day per month on top of your holiday allowance to spend time doing the things you want to do or simply catching up with life admin Freedom Pass work up to 4 weeks of the year from anywhere FlexiBank you decide when to use your public holiday allocation Hybrid Working approach varying with the nature of your role Life cover; income protection and participation in the company pension scheme All employees are included in the company discretionary bonus scheme £100 per month to put towards wellness activities Annual learning & development allowance of £1,250 Free access to LinkedIn learning and Microsoft ESI learning platform Additional Information: Our recruitment process will involve: HR interview - 30 minutes Technical interview/ assessment - 1 hour 45 minutes Numerical and Verbal Reasoning online assessment - 30 minutes Final Competency based interview - 1 hour Our recruitment process is designed to identify how your skills and experience align to our team structure, and will enable us to determine the level of role offered.
