The Role The company is seeking an experienced and ambitious Teen Girlswear Designer to join its London-based team. Reporting to the Head of Girlswear, the designer will be responsible for creating on-trend, high-quality seasonal ranges that reflect the brand's aesthetic and meet market demands. Key Responsibilities Designing original, commercial girlswear across multi-product categories, including jersey, sweat, knitwear, and outerwear. Developing cohesive seasonal collections aligned with the brand's vision. Sourcing and selecting high-quality fabrics and creating seasonal colour palettes. Producing detailed technical sketches and managing fit sessions and sample reviews. Collaborating with factories and in-country teams to meet deadlines. Analyzing market trends and customer feedback to inform design decisions. Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field. 2 + years of design experience in girlswear or womenswear. Strong technical drawing skills and proficiency in Adobe Suite. Knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and production processes. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Experience in graphics or print design is an advantage. Ideal Candidate Profile A creative yet commercial thinker with a fashion-forward perspective. A collaborative team player with strong time management skills. Adaptable, hands-on, and eager to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
