Key Job Responsibilities

Be very hands-on working with the engineering team to manage the day-to-day development activities by leading architecture discussions, participating in design/code reviews, design decision making, implementation, etc. Be responsible for overall systems architecture, scalability, reliability, availability, and performance. Maintain broad knowledge to support rapidly changing technology, always on the lookout for new technologies and work with senior tech leads and management in bringing new technologies to the systems. Work with engineering teams to design and optimize a wide variety of services using a variety of development tools and practices. In addition, the role involves developing shared components and tools, analyzing the latest technologies and trends, establishing and implementing standard practices as well as training and mentoring other engineers. To be successful you'll need experience managing the full life cycle of software development, front-end and back-end development, with knowledge of cloud services, customer focus, and excellent communication skills. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one software programming language PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
