The data processing executive role is an operational role within the Data-In business group, working in the Data Supply team. The team is responsible for ensuring that all data supplied from retailers is supplied on time and is processed within the agreed schedules to a high standard. The team is also responsible for new retailer setups, Retailer Product Group (RPG) category assignments, data queries, and the quality of retailer data received. They will work closely with Field, Coding, and Retailer services teams to improve data supply and quality of data through to reporting. This role requires a high attention to detail, the ability to learn internal tools quickly, and the aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high quality standards. Main Responsibilities Work closely with the Senior Data Processing Executive to ensure effective management of the Data Loading and Quality Control Processes. Ensure that all retailer data follows the data management process. Effectively use global processes and tools to improve speed and quality. Work with the team to ensure that data is delivered and processed to agreed schedules, establish any processing problems, and promptly identify and correct them. Maintain retailer category assignments required for Total Store Reporting. Work with offshore Data-In team to ensure new shops (branches) are created and assigned according to GfK processes and best practices. Collaborate with retailer service team to ensure regular contact with data suppliers to improve delivery and content. Maintain all Data Supply documentation and best practices. Assess data quality of new retailers. Meet or exceed weekly benchmarks for retailer delivery and data loading. Ensure all helpdesk ticket queries are handled efficiently and effectively. Support the Field expert with service calls/emails into selected independent retailers to maintain retailers on the GfK panel. Accurately maintain the Field database and other internal systems. Skills & Experience High skill level within Microsoft Office suite, particularly data manipulation within Excel and Access. Knowledge of Macros would be advantageous (i.e., creating, altering, and running macros in Excel). Ability to understand and analyze data. Must have a systematic, logical approach to problem solving. Proven experience of learning new systems. Quality standards are key to this individual. Enjoys learning new aspects of the role as systems develop. A logical thinker, able to dissect and resolve problems that arise. Someone who can find alternative solutions and think through all implications before taking action. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Flexible approach to work. Ability to multi-task. Ability to maintain good working internal relationships.
