***EXCLUSIVE*** Central Bristol + 2 days hybrid working Kitson Associates is excited to share a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Principal Engineer to join a newly formed region based in Bristol. You will be an integral number two to the Director, helping to facilitate that growth. What's in it for you? Help guide and mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and experience. Oversee designs to ensure they meet standards, regulations, and client needs. Manage resources, schedules, and deliverables to keep projects running smoothly. Build strong relationships with clients and external contacts like contractors and councils. Check and review project work to maintain high quality and resolve issues early. Support bids and tenders with technical input and cost estimates. Skills and Experience Ideally 6+ years UK experience with 2 years’ experience in a Principal position. Proven experience managing a team and working on commercial elements of bringing new projects in. Highway design experience, dealing with Section 278 / 38. Drainage design, dealing with Section 104. Previous experience managing clients and expectations. Experience dealing with local planning authorities.
