Structural Engineer Warwick Ref: S0 91 Salary: Up to £48,000 I am currently seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join a leading consulting firm in their Warwick office. As part of an experienced team, you’ll work alongside Chartered, mid-level, and graduate engineers, supporting a wide variety of challenging structural projects. The ideal candidate will have solid experience across a diverse range of structural engineering designs and will be comfortable managing complex projects from inception to completion. You will be part of a high-performing team working on bespoke new builds, refurbishments, and heritage structures, with a strong focus on sustainable engineering and re-use. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer who is looking to develop their skills further and work on exciting, diverse projects. Key Responsibilities for this Structural Engineering role include: Undertake detailed structural design using UK and European codes of practice Develop preliminary design solutions, review with clients, and provide technical recommendations Produce detailed designs, calculations, specifications, and technical reviews Participate in design, progress, and client meetings Liaise with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders, addressing technical queries Design across various construction types (steel, concrete, masonry, timber) Conduct structural appraisals of commercial, residential, and industrial buildings Manage project costs, programmes, and sustainability criteria Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and health and safety standards Supervise CAD/Revit technicians and junior engineers, performing QA reviews Support business development, maintain existing client relationships, and identify new opportunities Requirements for this Structural Engineer: A minimum of a 2:1 BSc/BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent) At least 4 years of post-qualification experience in civil and structural engineering Full UK driving license and access to own transport Chartered or near-chartered status (MICE or MIStructE) Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design software Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Client-focused approach with a strong commitment to quality and integrity Salary & Benefits Competitive salary, depending on experience 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays Annual profit share (average 2.5% of salary) Annual salary reviews AXA private healthcare £2,500 salary addition upon chartership completion Stakeholder pension Professional subscriptions and exam fees Ongoing training, CPD opportunities, and workshops Regular social and family events Free on-site parking Cycle to work scheme Flexible, supportive work environment If you’re looking to take the next step in your structural engineering career with a company that values technical excellence, sustainable design, and a positive working environment, please contact Sam Osborne at 01792 957388 or send your CV to
