London , we are looking to hire a: Settlements Analyst - Permanent Your role in the team We are part of a Settlements team of 20 personnel covering all markets. You will be working in a busy team of 5, based in our modern London office 5 days a week. We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing individual with up to 2/3 years Settlements experience to fit into our lively, experienced team. We will mentor and train you to become an integral part of our team. We have high standards and you should be able to hit the ground running. As well as Equity and Bond settlement processing (Euroclear/Crest), you will also be exposed to IPOs, Corporate Actions, Reconciliations, and Share Buybacks. There are always various projects to be involved in such as system enhancements and Robotics. You will also have the opportunity to work with our colleagues from our Hamburg and Frankfurt offices, and travel to our Hamburg headquarters from time to time. What will you do? Handling high volume settlements for the UK & Irish markets and our fixed income business via Crest & Euroclear. Manage intraday Custodian Settlement Pre-Matching, Matching & Escalation. Resolution of Portfolio Management and Trade related queries from our internal & external stakeholders. Undertake regular risk analysis of departmental processes and procedures. Who are we looking for? Up to 3 years’ experience within a Securities Settlements function. An outgoing, enthusiastic individual who is a willing and quick learner, and able to fit into our culture. Knowledge of Corporate Actions and stock and cash Reconciliations desirable. Have the ability to improve and develop current settlement processes.
