Title: Product Control Analyst Sector: Commodity trading (Gas, Power & Renewables) Salary: £60-70,000 + bonus and benefits Location: City London (hybrid) Venator Search are assisting a high-profile Commodities Trading firm that’s specialises in Gas, Power and Renewables across Europe in their search for a Middle Office Product Control Analyst The Product Control Analyst will support the day-to-day management of the Gas, Power and Renewables trading desk and responsible for reconciling, controlling, and reporting of the daily P&L. You will collaborate with teams across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Accounting, and Treasury to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day trading. Responsibilities: Reconcile daily & monthly PnL and report to stakeholders Monitor desk cash flow and liaise with Front Office to ensure a suitable cash position Submit of Daily & Monthly P&L reports to internal & external stakeholders Support the setup of all new business requirements from traders Maintain close communication with front office, back office and assist in resolving any settlement / confirmation problems. Collaborate within a small, dynamic team environment The candidate: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, Math and/or related field. Prior experience in a product control, middle office, daily PnL role. An understanding of Gas, Power or Renewables
