QA Engineer Opportunity to join one of the fastest growing eCommerce companies in the UK! Location: Snodland, Kent.

This role is in the office full time! Salary: up to GBP30k - GBP32k plus benefits Skills: Automated testing, OOP, PHPUnit We are looking for a talented QA Engineer to join one of the UK's fastest growing and most exciting eCommerce companies. You will build new products, engineer new solutions, and create systems and platforms that provide innovative products used around the home. About You: You are a QA Engineer with Back End PHP/LAMP stack experience, including code reviews, unit testing, and system testing. You will collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure that systems meet requirements, adhere to best practices, and deliver exceptional user experiences. You enjoy working with people day to day and thrive in team collaboration, while also focusing on writing quality, testable, reusable code when needed. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and ensure the testability of new features. Conduct code reviews to maintain code standards and identify bugs. Develop and execute test plans for functionality and performance. Write and maintain unit tests to automate validation. Identify, document, and track bugs. Implement QA processes to ensure consistent delivery of high quality code. Experience Required: Strong knowledge of PHP including frameworks such as CakePHP and/or Laravel. Experience with unit testing frameworks such as PHPUnit and a developer understanding of automated testing methodologies. Proficient in code reviews with a keen eye for errors, inefficiencies, and vulnerabilities. Solid understanding of version control systems like Git. Familiarity with MySQL and database validation. Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for cross-functional testing. This position provides the successful candidate with exposure to the very latest in web technology releases, as well as the opportunity to work on multiple projects.
